Cynthia D. Johnson, born April 4th, 1963, was brutally murdered on December 24th, 1983, in Stamford, Connecticut.

This case was simply a case of “IF I CANNOT HAVE YOU NOBODY CAN” after a 5-month courtship Ms. Johnson decided she no longer wanted to pursue a friendship with Jonathan Mosley of Norwalk, Connecticut who was controlling and jealous in nature.

Cynthia House Of Refuge vision and mission is to provide a safe-haven for men and women of Domestic Violence; while providing Mentorship, Life Skills and Holistic Recovery Support Groups aim to establish wholeness and peace within oneself.

Cynthia had one surviving son (Lamont) at the time of her murder he was only 3 years old, now 45 married with several children, and established his own trucking business becoming a successful Owner Operator in Columbus, Ohio.
